    Prabharani Public School was founded in 2003 as a torch bearer of modern education with multipurpose learning techniques and facilities by Late, Subrata Samajdar. He dreamed of an institution that provides diverse knowledge with modern curriculum and felicitate students in the best way possible.

    This school is affiliated from CBSE,New Delhi and is a wing of Prabharani Educational and charitable social trust, an entirely non profit organization. It is located at a short distance from Berhampore town and is primarily noticed for its pollution free and widespread campus. The pollution free sylvan environment makes this institution a happy heaven for our students.

    The school has also been partially digitalised.

    The Prabharani Public School provided a congenial Environment for all round. Development of the whole personality and its integration with the society, particularly in reference to the Indian context. Positive ideas are inculcated in the students as regards personal hygiene, neatness of uniform, cleanliness of surroundings, graceful manners, obedience and discipline. To achieve high academic standards, personal attention is given to each child. Highly motivated and dedicated team teachers play the role of a model for the children. Individual care and personalised coaching and regular efforts have woven a very vibrant and inspiring environment. Learning is a joy here as teachers made their lessons very interesting by following various methods of teaching, viz Demonstration, Experimentation, Project Work, Home Assignment, Play-way, Micro-teaching, Structure- method etc. Education is child centered here, and singing, mimicry, playing, dramatization echoes in the campus.

    The aims PPS’s is to inculcate in the students a thirst for knowledge, devotion to duty, honesty, patriotic favour besides humanism. We impart an education “to build” and as education “ to repay”.

    Dear Parents / Guardians,

    Your child will be with us for 5 to 6 hours only a day. But the rest with you. Help your child to help us to give you back a gem for the future. Children are like budding flowers; let them grow of their own. They only need love, affection and care in abundance form our concern. In spite of your busy and hectic schedule of the day, always spare time to listen to your child with sympathy. Ensure that your ward does not possess any contagious disease. Avoid giving your child costly wristwatches, gold ornaments, fashionable wearings. [In this cases negative marks will be provided] Take remedial measures when your ward is found weak in studies. In such case, contact the Principal or class teacher by prior appointment. Avoid disturbing the teachers in their way, either before or after school.

    The School Diary is introduced for the betterment and progress of the students. The guardians are requested to note that important reports from authorities and class teachers are sent through the diary. Kindly co-operate with authorities by paying regular attention to the school Diary.

    Parent must sign messages, home assignment & other similar notifications when required. Failure to comply with this may cause inconvenience to students & render them liable to send home.

    The school authority for various reasons requires your specimen signature and address. You are therefore requested to sign and write your address in the space provided.
